We always were. You know, the biggest threat to a Hillary Clinton Presidency is the Conservative Christians that dominate our society. If we would unite on rational principles, the division that has so greatly wounded our country will heal and we can elect strong, moral, ethical people again.

Like I said, we are voting on principles right now, not a candidate. I heard a saying once. Don't let your principles dictate who you are. So, when someone asks you. . .are you a liberal or conservative, they are defining you by your principles. My answer, next time, will be, I am an American Christian.

Let those 2 things unite us, the principles can then sort themselves out.

In fact there is a lot of evidence that Lincoln had a gay one.

Could you provide a link to a scholarly work that proves that?

Actually, competence and the ability to form a complete sentence when unscripted makes Americans more willing to ignore indiscretion.

You answer that with a jab at Presidents verbal skills? That doesn't change the fact that when the money is rolling in, the general public is more tolerant of immorality.

had the Bush Administration not been completely asleep at the wheel their first 8 months in office, it may well have never happened.

Hmmmmm, 8 months compared to 8 years of Clinton incompetence and ineffectualness in the face of terrorism.

clinton's eight year reign of so-called peace led to bin laden being around to carry out his terrorist attack on 9/11/01.

and let's review his years of "peace"...

first WTC bombing

USS cole

american embassy bombings in africa

yeah, peace... his brand of peace was quite costly to america.

yes, because unlike clinton, bush is trying to put a stop to it. he is trying to protect his nation.

9/11 happened BECAUSE CLINTON did not take action when he had the opportunity, even though he KNEW that bin laden had been behind terrorist actions against the US.

so in short, i blame clinton for 9/11.

but since you seem so intent on bringing up the war against terror, which i fully support by the way, let me remind you of clinton's feeble attempt to look tough on terrorism by launching missile strikes in iraq... and we could talk about the gulf and bosnian wars. and yet when push came to shove, he proved his previous actions were just for show when he refused to actually take action against a terrorist who was handed to him on a silver platter.

get your head out of the sand.

my "beloved" president? i respect the man, and support him on many things, but there are probably more things i don't support him on than do. so quit making assumptions, you're sounding like the kind of person whose only method of defense when all else fails is to make up things about other people.

history is one economic prosperity/economic recession roller coaster. clinton doesn't get the credit for the prosperity, because the economy was on the rebound when he took office. fortunately for him, people mistakenly GAVE him credit for the dot com bubble, which subsequently BURST near the end of his administration. bush inherited a declining economy which slid quickly into the toilet after 9/11 occurred, which again is directly linked to the incompetence of the previous administration. our economy is still trying to rebound from that. and in fact, our economy made a whole lot quicker start on recovery than was expected or was historically typical.

do i think bush has done all he could to get us out of recession? not necessarily. i think he has made some very wise moves, but i think he's also made some very unwise ones. just like every president we've ever had, including clinton.

oh, and clinton never earned my respect. but i really don't care if you think it's disrespectful to blame clinton or not. the FACTS ARE that bin laden could have been stopped, and it was well within clinton's power to do so, and he CHOSE to do nothing. i think it's disingenuous for people to try and deflect all that.

sorry to run off and leave you with nobody to argue with, but hubby is home and wants the computer.

While Clinton was in office, our economy boomed, more people were spending money, gas prices were at their lowest.

Clinton inherited a good economy from Reagan, but Clinton gets the credit. Bush inherited a bad economy from Clinton, and Bush gets the blame.

Hillary is going to do whatever she has to do to get control of this country. Last night I heard Slick Willey warning anyone who may want to attack her during this campaing. Hey if she can't take the abuse she had better get out of the race. Personally I have a sinking feeling that she is going to win. If she does we had better batton down the hatches, because we are in for a real mess.

I would so much rather have 8 years of Clinton peace time than the last 8 years of Bush Idiocracy

I would rather have 80 years of fighting those bent on our destruction, than 8 years of terrorist encouraging appeasement.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
