Rapture Question

Thank you tmrfiles and Yahsway. I am not as fluent and articulate with expressing myself as you, asepsially you Toni. The bible surely does explain itself. I had never heard of a rapture before the apostacy and the exposing of the a/c, until I watched a couple of left behind videos in one of the local churches. and read some of the posts on this board.

Some people are like water........they flow along the line of least resistance. There's only one second coming of our Lord, or it would have been in scripture.

The apostasy is already upon us, and the confirming of the covenant with many spoken of in Daniel 9:27 may be what is happening right now in Israel with the Saudi Peace Initiative. And your pre-trib people are waiting to be snatched outa here. Are they in for a big surprise. The majority do not even know what is going on because they have bought into the big lie.

Too many left behind books have deceived multitudes into the great escape snatching, which is totally unscriptural as they are sensational fiction to sell books, and make money.. And that they did.

Look at the words of Jesus and Paul and Daniel. They will not lead anyone astray!

There is no proof that any of us are right. God has purposely made it in such a way as we cannot discern the exact way things are going to happen. You can't start throwing around insults that people are gullibly falling for a lie. No one is smarter than anyone else on this issue, as it is inconclusive.

It is not a mark of spirituality to believe any particular theory. We will all find out together.

I go by what Jesus, Paul and His prophets said. They are right!!

You cannot speak for everyone else, so your point is moot. Furthermore, you still have not shown any scripture to back anything up that you have said except one scripture from Daniel, which was non-applicable to the topic. I on the other hand, have given solid scripture evidence from Jesus, Paul, Dainel, Joel, [and Peter, which I did not include] who all write the same thing. All their scriptures conform in perfect unity. God is not the author of confusion.

No, the devil and people are. There will always be disagreement on this issue, as all scriptures back up each view. You cannot get around it.

The mosst important thing to remember is to love one another in spite of these differences, which is unity, and look to the glorious return of the King! No one is privy to the absolute knowledge of these future events and how they will play out.

This statement infers (to me) that those who believe in the removal of the Bride by the Groom (Rapture) are believing that it is a second coming. We don't believe that. Jesus doesn't have His Day until He comes to vanquish evil once and for all, with the Sword...the saints with Him.

Meanwhile the bomb is ticking away in the middlw East and at a stroke of a pen.......well it will be like waking up and hearing the news from the BBC in London when WW11 began.

Well I'm too old to see it, but what a sight to see the Star of David flying high off the top of the dome...........but then again I may be the flag bearer in the Lord's army. who has the priviledge of placing there................ Dream on, eric, dream on.

I am glad you have a particular thought about the end, eric. However you cannot call what we pre-tribbers believe nonsense. No one knows exactly what is about to happen! All the more reason to be careful who you denigrate, for fear that you will be found wrong in your own ideas. No one is right, yet. So, be careful what you cll nonsensical. I can firmly see all viewpoints and I will give each some credence because all scenarios are backed by scripture.

You still need to go back and re-read what I said. I said the Resurrection-Rapture are a combined event, that will happen at the end of the tribulation period. I spelled it all out, with scripture from Paul, Jesus, Daniel and Joel. Whether you accept or believe it or not is up to you.

I agree, eric. After reading scripture, there is no such thing as a pre-trib rapture. It is worse than nonesense, IMO.

Now after my posts, that is just brazenly rude. I don't think what you believe is nonsense!
