OK, show me the scripture that says so.

Isaiah 14

3 And it shall come to pass in the day that the Lord shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,

4 That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!

5 The Lord hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers.

6 He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.

7 The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.

8 Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.

Even if someone could clone a human from a dead body, it would not be the same person, because it would not have any knowledge of the former soul.

That does not keep them from being there and learning who they are.

The fallen angels are in the Abyss. Demons are earthbound.

There is no Nimrod in Isaiah 14.

The helel/"Shining One/Morning Star/Lucifer" of 14:12 is not descriptive of a man. If it is not Satan, then it is another evil angelic spirit.

Isaiah 14 is about Nimrod, and not about Satan or another angel.

Nimrod is the DAY STAR. He is the sun in the Babylonian religion. In Latin, the word "lucifer" or day star, morning star, light bringing, was not translated to English. Instead, it was CAPITALIZED and not translated. So the Latin word "lucifer" became Lucifer. This is a translation error.

In Isaiah 14 we see both the King of Babylon and the Assyrian. Nimrod is the only person in history that was both the king of Babylon and Assyrian.

We are also looking for a king that was and is not and will come again as the 8th king is of the seven.

Revelation 17

10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

We can be sure that Nimrod is the king of Babylon being discussed because the fir trees and the cedars of Lebanon rejoice when Nimrod is laid down, when the earth is at rest. They rejoice because no tree fellers, that is people that chop down trees, cut them down anymore.

Isaiah 14

4 That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!

5 The Lord hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers.

6 He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.

7 The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.

Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.

The Christmas tree which is a fir tree has been cut down long before Christ was on the earth.

Jeremiah 10

3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

The Christmas tree is cut in honor of Nimrod. At the death of Tammuz it is claimed that a stump grew into an evergreen tree overnight as the blood of Tammuz was on the stump. Tammuz was killed by a wild boar and Tammuz was the supposed reincarnation of Nimrod.

Ezekiel 8

13 He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.

14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the Lord's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.

Nimrod also cut down the cedars of Lebanon to build cities and his throne was made from a cedar tree.

He didn't. That was his desire, but he only said it in his heart.

Isaiah 14

13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

The Babylonian religion is the source of most false religions in the world. They all worship the sun as the father God. Nimrod is the sun.

What people think is primitive sun worship is really the worship of Nimrod also known as Baal.

I'm familiar with all this, I just never attached it to this verse.  Nimrod's history outside the Bible is pretty wild. Different names but the same folks.

The two things that Michael Heiser discussed, I liked best was his take on what Jesus did at Mt. Hermon and his discussion on Naaman.

He essentially thumbed his nose at Baal and all the iterations and He declared that the gates of hell could not defend against His Church. Very powerful and a guarantee.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
