Human nature seeks leadership.

In times past people have demanded a king to represent them.

Made Golden calf because they felt abandoned by the God who performed miracles to lead them from bondage in Egypt.

Humans in all areas have created images - roman gods, greek gods, hindu gods, many forms of entities everywhere on earth.

It is a human desire to have someone over them in charge - to blame, to worship, to make them feel secure and of value

So, in a generation who has lost contact with a Biblical God and no understanding of the salvation message of Jesus.... they are of the season and ripe to be plucked by a false leader who will claim to be their god.

Humans today are no different from the Hebrews wandering in the wilderness - solace and help will be solicited from another source .... the anti-christ can not be far away.

just thinking....

To have any kind of discussion, I have found over the years that everyone should have a consensus on exactly what the Antichrist is.  That word isn't used in end times prophecy in most of the books we generally use to discuss.

Many on this earth will embrace the Antichrist. He will be a charmer and will deceive many. A lot of people in this world will get his Mark of the Beast because they will trust him. Once they have gotten the MOB they will go to hell. They have worshiped the beast.

I feel the conclusion of scripture concerning the rise of the beast is to present a choice. Just like in the garden, eat from the tree and die, or heed my words and live.

People may think it's about what your saying, but scripture says it's about life eternal in the kingdom of God.

I agree, though I make no laws of publishing. "Anti" means "replacement". But scripture says many "replacement-Christs" will come. We discuss THE BEAST! Here are a few points to chew.

He is a "Prince of the People" who destroyed the second Temple - a Roman
He is the Prince of the fourth Empire of Daniel 2 - a Roman
He is previous king that reigned when John was alive - Rome reigned then
He lived and died while John was an Apostle - one of five who have fallen
He comes out of the Abyss - he is resurrected
He was, is not and will be - he will be resurrected
He was one of seven and IS the eighth - eight is the number of resurrection
He is resurrected out of time (Dan.7:25 - he should only be resurrected at the White Throne
He dos not die again - he goes living to the Lake of Fire
He is a "he" - a man
He is a "king" - a male ruler
He is opposed to, or disinterested in women - a trait of the resurrected (Lk.20:35-36)
He has three phases of his presence. 1. He is revealed. 2. He is crowned political ruler of the world for 3.5 years. 3. He is crowned religious ruler of the world for the second 3.5 years
He receives ALL Power. Nobody can defeat him. He defeats the saints (Rev.13:7) and the Two Witnesses (Rev.11)

He is human. I believe that Satan indwells the Antichrist.

He is a man. He is a "Prince of the people who destroy the second Temple (Dan.9). He is one of seven kings that reigned at John's time. His number is the "number of a MAN".

He is also from the pit. Under the earth are two prisons, Hades and Tartaroo. Hades is a underground place for the SOULS of dead men. Some language experts say that Hades mean "hidden". Jesus went there at death but He has the keys of the Gates of Hades. David was still there 50 days after Jesus' resurrection (Act.2:26-34). Tartaroo (2nd Pet.2:4) is a prison for the angels that mixed with women at Noah's time. They are SPIRITS and must await the White Throne judgment. These two places seem to share a common hole - an "Abyss". Any man who is released from Hades must come up the pit to the earth's surface.

Demons, on the other hand, live in water. When they are not in body (70% water), they are tormented by "dryness" (Matt.12:43). They will be sorely tormented after the White Throne judgment because there is no more sea.

God has decided on MEN ruling the earth. The Beast must be a normal man.

Satan always tries to duplicate what Jesus Christ is. Satan is going to indwell the human on this earth who will become the Antichrist. Just like the born again Christians are indwell with God's Holy Spirit. Satan has the unholy trinity during the 7 year tribulation. It will be Satan, the Antichrist and the False Prophet. Just like we have the Holy Trinity which is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. When the born again Christians get to heaven we will have the mark of Jesus Christ on our forehead. Those who take the MOB in the 7 year tribulation will take the mark of worship and obedience for Satan and the Beast. There will be no opportunity for them to get to heaven.

He -- "THE antichrist" -- is a construct of poorly-educated Christian theologians. But according to the scriptures, there is no "THE antichrist;" rather, there are many of them:

John's testimony: "there are many antichrists." 1 John 2:18

Jesus testimony: "many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ...'"

20. “The Antichrist” Myth

Debunks a number of false presumptions about “The Antichrist” that are taught in modern-day churches.    https://www.worthychristianforums.com/blogs/entry/1150-the-antichrist-myth/

There will be "many" antichrists in the End Times, including

" 1) the Son of Perdition/Lawless One, 2) the Beast, 3) the False Prophet, 4) the Mouth of the Beast = Little Horn, and 5) Gog. Thus there are at minimum five major end times antichrists, without even mentioning the greatest antichrist of them all, Satan. They are all anti/against Christ, according to Johnʼs definition: ones that deny and oppose the exclusivity of Jesus being the only Christ/Messiah of God. "

The Beast who ascends from the Abyss is a fallen angel, not a man. Whereas the Son of Perdition is a man.

17. The Son of Perdition Is a Patsy

Shows that 2 Thessalonians 2:3’s Son of Perdition will follow in the pattern of Judas, the Bible’s only other Son of Perdition; contrary to common misconceptions about his role in the End Times. https://worthychristianforums.com/blogs/entry/1097-the-son-of-perdition-is-a-patsy/

68. The Beast Is Not a (Seven-Headed!) Man, Part 1

Explains why the Beast of Revelation 13 cannot be a man, and reveals who and what it really is. https://www.worthychristianforums.com/blogs/entry/2778-the-beast-is-not-a-seven-headed-man-part-1/

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.

    • Shalom my brothers and sisters,

First of all, welcome to our online fellowship. It's our sincere hope that you enjoy your time on our boards. Recently it occurred to me that a great number of people have come into our online fellowship within the past year or so and perhaps you've never clearly understood how the ministry operates. So I'm writing out in full detail just how the Holy Spirit led me to create a system of checks and balances within the ministry to keep everyone accountable to each other. We have a very open and transparent ministry.

First, a little bit about our moderating team. Every moderator on the boards comes from a completely unique and different background. There's no 2 moderators from the same denomination on the boards. Denominations do not play a part in our moderating style because our focus is not on denomination differences but rather our common bond in our Lord and Savior Jesus!

So if you see a thread being pulled or yanked, it's not being pulled or yanked because of a difference in theology, but rather a problem with the spirit of the thread. Of course differences are going to be expressed in any discussion -- but how these differences are voiced is the reasoning for any thread being shut down.
