In reading through this thread, I see so many things said that just seem silly for Christians to say to each other.  Whilst telling someone about the sliver in their eye, they seem to miss the log in their own!

Engaging in political discussions is often much like hitting the proverbial tar baby . . .

Not everyone here are Christians, so that's a pretty broad brush stroke.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Hi VA, I tend to have the following come to my own mind when  politics becomes paramount in people's rallying cries around some latest bright spot that is going to lead us all to everlasting prosperity and peace, always he or she is the only one thay can do it!

..."But the thing displeased Samuel when they said, “Give us a king to judge us.” So Samuel prayed to the Lord.  And the Lord said to Samuel, “Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them."

I envision  my God say'n to Himself, Ya want kings rulers, judges,  and dictators eh? Okay folks watch this lineup I now have in store for y'all!

Some writing on this thread are not Christians?  I wasn't aware.  (Nonetheless.)

Vine complained about everyone's interaction here, I guess including yours.  The OP started as a complaint about Trump.

What was so good about Vine's complaint concerning Christians interacting?

My first inclination is to ignore this; but, I will answer your question.

Vine is not antagonistic with his responses.  Honest yes; but, not antagonistic.

Democrats are the biggest problem the world has, and Christians have no business voting as a Democrat.

Hi,  Hardly think that to be the case. If the world has a "biggest" problem it is the rejection of it's maker.

Perhaps Christians, "real Christians", "true Christians', "born again Christians", and even just plain  believers in the faith of Jesus, should not bother themselves to be entertaining voting at all. For what does a Christian have to do with Belial?

Fortunately the "big problem" and really the only one of eternal consequence  has already been established, met, and conquered, by  Christ Jesus, that being the final enemy death.  That victory didn't even require a vote, it is all by God, his will alone.

Let's be about going into all the world with the gospel of Jesus that many may be found mature in His faith at his quick return, yes even those USA American Democrats, and a few independent minded souls. But especially let's remember our first love that we may share of Him with the world  far beyond the physical borders of a USA nation.

May God bless each of us with opportunities to be doing that each day wherever we are placed by God.
