We know that at this time the Son, Jesus is on His Father`s throne. (Heb. 1: 3)

So, what is the Father doing, and what is Jesus doing?

Please use scriptures.

Revelation 1:18 NIV 18 I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

Who is Hades?  Hades had the keys, and Jesus got the Keys. What did it happen there after. And what was happening before that?

The Lord ascended to sit at the right hand of the Father upon His throne. We'll begin with this passage from Hebrews:

Every priest stands daily ministering and offering time after time the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins; but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God, waiting from that time onward until His enemies are made a footstool for His feet. (Hebrews 10:11-13 NASB)

The above is reflected in the following passage from Psalm 110:

The LORD says to my Lord:
“Sit at My right hand
Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”
The LORD will stretch out Your strong scepter from Zion, saying,
“Rule in the midst of Your enemies.”
Your people will volunteer freely on the day of Your power;
In holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn,
Your youth are to You as the dew.

(verses 1-3 NASB)

That passage from the Psalm explains that the Father tells the Son to rule in the midst of His enemies, meaning that He sits at the right hand of the Father as the Almighty. The Son of God is Almighty. We know of His status as Almighty by the following:

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me." (Matthew 28:18 NASB)

The following passage from Acts confirms where the Son of God is situated by Stephen's words:

But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, looked intently into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God; and he said, “Behold, I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.” (Acts 7:55-56 NASB)

This passage from Mark confirms where the Son of God went after He ascended:

So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. (Mark 16:19 NASB)

As for what the Father is doing: He speaks to us through His Son (Hebrews 1:2).

As for what the Father will do when the time of the end comes --- a time that only He knows (ref. Matthew 24:36) --- the latter portion of Psalm 110 summarizes this beautifully:

The LORD has sworn and will not change His mind,
“You are a priest forever
According to the order of Melchizedek.”
The Lord is at Your right hand;
He will shatter kings in the day of His wrath.
He will judge among the nations,
He will fill them with corpses,
He will shatter the chief men over a broad country.
He will drink from the brook by the wayside;
Therefore He will lift up His head.

(verses 4-7 NASB)

The Father will send forth His Son in the end. The day of His wrath is described in the book of Revelation and also in various passages from the books of the prophets.

There is a question at hand, whether we say he sat on the right of God on his Throne or as Stephen said in his vision just before his death that Jesus was standing on the right hand of God.

The questions can be that God had a Kingdom and now God shows to the Heavenly who has inherited the Kingdom of God which includes all authority in Heaven (so the Heavenly knows who is the Lord of all and the King of Kings, and who has all authority in the things under the earth and in all things on earth.

The day of His wrath is described in the book of Revelation and also in various passages from the books of the prophets.

This was written before the time of Jesus Christ and it has been fulfilled in Jesus Christ about two thousand years ago. And Jesus rules from that time on. And he has the Keys of Death and Hades. Hades is not the Judge of those who die anymore.   Jesus began to Judged every one from the beginning of the world which it means that he set aside all the previous judgements on the dead and he established he own eternal judgment on everyone. because the New has come and He is giving life to anyone who believed in him as Jesus preached the Gospel to all the dead of the world. Jesus judges all the people of the world from that time on and the Father is pleased because from the beginning of the world He had proposed to Judge the world through the Christ, through Jesus Christ. This it has been fulfilled as he said to Peter that go to Cornelius and what God has made clean stopped seeing them as unclean. Jesus has the Keys of death and Hades definitely He is not keeping the dead captives in Hades just like Hades did. Which it will include that He will continue to put the people who die in Hades just like as Hades did. This is impossible because Jesus Christ made all things new.

The Psalm is not literal description. But representing the powers of Jesus as the devils confess that we know Jesus and even Paul. Jesus had given authority to his disciples to trampled upon scorpions and snakes and this is because Jesus had that authority and He sent them in the whole world after the Cross and his Glorification by the Father who gave him the whole world. Before the Cross Jesus was only for the lost sheep of Israel. The Jews had the Sinai Covenant. The lost were those who were excluded from the righteousness of the Law.

The disciples believe who were full and their cup overflow with the Holy Spirit teach that the Holy Spirit interceeds for us. That the Holy Spirit is our helper that the Holy Spirit knows our needs better than us. And the Holy Spirit interceeds for us to our Lord and Savior. The Heavenly Father has given us Jesus Christ to be our Lord and our Judge. Look up to Jesus Christ for all our needs. The Heavenly Father has bestowed all he has, all his Theotis on Jesus Christ so Jesus can be All in All.

Your statement above about Jesus copy and paste in parentheses

("We know that at this time the Son, Jesus is on His Father`s throne." ) (Heb. 1: 3)

is not found in Hebrews 1:3 . We cannot say by reading 1:3 that we know that Jesus at this time is on His Father's throne. Because Hebrews did not say that. That Jesus at this time the year of 2024 AD Jesus is sitting on His Father's throne.

Hebrews 1:8

8 But about the Son he says,

“Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever;
    a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.

In this verse in Hebrew 1:8 Jesus Christ has his own Throne and he is call "O God" and his Throne will last for ever and ever. And Jesus has his own Kingdom.

That passage from the Psalm explains that the Father tells the Son to rule in the midst of His enemies, meaning that He sits at the right hand of the Father as the Almighty. The Son of God is Almighty. We know of His status as Almighty by the following:

Hi Marathoner,

Good scriptures. Now we notice in Ps. 110: 1, that the Father says, " Sit at my right hand UNTIL I make your enemies a footstool for your feet" So, has that happened?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
