Many become discouraged because of past mistakes, sins or failures. They just can't seem to get over things they may have done even since becoming a Christian. They wallow around in despair and remorse with the question aching in their hearts can God ever forgive them. Can everything be back the way if was between them and God? YES! God knew you wouldn't be perfect that we'd fail in future times but he left the door open to avail ourselves to that which will remedy the situation that being the precious blood of Jesus. The door open is through The PRECIOUS blood of Jesus!

And they overcame him (the devil) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; Revelation 12:11

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

“And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.” (Hebrews 9:22)

1 Pt 1:19, Lev 17:11, Eph 1:7, Heb 9:14, Ex 12:13, 1 John 1:7, Heb 9:22

The Blood of Jesus has been shed to remit, cancel out our sins and will cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 You take the prefix, UN off of unrighteousness and what are you left with? Righteousness or being put into the position of being just as if you'd never sinned. I lean heavily to always keep a consciousness of what the scriptures say about Jesus precious blood. Does knowing these things give us a comfort and license to go ahead and sin? After all God will forgive us and cleanse us. No we should never go along with that way of thinking but God knows you're in a trap and are desperately looking for a way out. He wants you free!

He still doesn't want you languishing in despair. I'd encourage you to believe the Lord is full of compassion Ps 145:8 wanting and longing for your life to be restored. It's found through your understanding about how Jesus precious blood puts you into a position of where God can look at you as just-as-if you'd never sinned. And keep in mind this isn't something God feels he has to do or does so grudgingly BUT .... he wants to . He wants to look at you through his precious blood. God finds pleasure when you're life is helped and restored! God is LOVE.

It's the blood!  It is permanent and all efficacious!  He paid the ultimate price to take care of our sin problem.  Now the vessel (us believers) can be clean and filled with His eternal life!!!:emot-highfive:

Well maybe, least that is what  a song  or two says; but is it the blood shed, rather than what has shed the blood?

I think this is some of the thinking that holds some people back.

For those who are in a hot mess and seeking the Lord, you don't need to clean yourself up. Come to Him just as you are. He already knows what you are and He loves you. The hitch is, we allow Him to make the changes necessary to change us  into what He intends for us to be. We can't do it.

We simply come by saying, " Here I am Lord, I am trusting you and accepting Jesus as the way for my salvation." Come as you are, a sinner unclean whether anyone notices or whether it is so apparent noone can miss it.

For those who are already saved and have continued to stumble with some vice or weakness, you are still a child of the King. He knows you hate what you are doing. He knows you want to change but are unable to change. Pray this prayer- " Lord, please do whatever you need to do to conform me to what you want me to be." I assure you, He will. He doesn't always make the changes immediately, but He reaches out and begins to work on the willing heart.

If you hold back, hold onto sin in any way instead of letting it go to Him, then he pulls away from you. This is what free will is all about. There are believers who "sin unto death". That final chastisement is death. Some will be saved "as by fire". I believe MOST saved will be refined and used to bear fruit.

No I don't mean that at all. I'm assuming the person is feeling bad and remorseful and wants to overcome whatever sin but how to deal with the condemnation and guilt people are struggling with. I'll say you're right to point that out but NO that's not what I mean.

Is that what you want to do - "keep on truckin in sin?"  Because of your God-given free will, you do have that choice . . .

God did not give me any such  freewill, not at all. I am not free in Yeshua. I am indebted, completely indebted, to Him.

I had no choice in becoming aware of the saving grace and the mercy  extended to me by God . That awareness is of the Holy Spirit's doing, not of my freewill. Now aware, I have no freewill to sin against God.

I do not my own will, but instead God's. I do not challenge God, nor His will for my doing(s). He moves me to where I do not know next, but I go anyway for He is sovereign.

And the once saved always saved crowd will insist that those who got born again and continued in sin.... will still go to Heaven,

This is what is so dangerous about false OSAS teaching is because it causes those young in the faith to stumble as many of them will actually continue in sin based on hearing people say "you can never lose your salvation"

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
