(Worthy Insights) – As a medical student and researcher, I staunchly supported the efforts of the public health authorities when it came to COVID-19. I believed that the authorities responded to the largest public health crisis of our lives with compassion, diligence, and scientific expertise. I was with them when they called for lockdowns, vaccines, and boosters.

I was wrong. We in the scientific community were wrong. And it cost lives.

I can see now that the scientific community from the CDC to the WHO to the FDA and their representatives, repeatedly overstated the evidence and misled the public about its own views and policies, including on natural vs. artificial immunity, school closures and disease transmission, aerosol spread, mask mandates, and vaccine effectiveness and safety, especially among the young. All of these were scientific mistakes at the time, not in hindsight. Amazingly, some of these obfuscations continue to the present day. [ Source: NewsWeek (Read More…) ]

You can respond to it, but you won't be responded to.

Actually, it's simply posting up articles we posted on Worthy.  It is meant to be discussed.  I thought it was interesting since NewsWeek ran the Op-Ed.  So it's not as if it was a right wing news service ... but rather a respected news organization ran the Op-Ed.

I still don't know anyone who is vaccinated that has had problems from it, much less died.

I do have 12 friends who were not vaccinated die from the virus.   Two last summer.

Fortunately, I know very few personally. My wife's uncle passed from it, but he already had emphysema so was at a high risk. I know about a couple others, but more at arms-length.

The latest poll from Rasmussen shows a strange twist ... it's now Democrats concerned about the Jab than Republicans.

This graph is easy to misinterpret.

63% of Republicans do not know anyone whose death may have been caused by side effects of COCID-19 vaccines.

60% of Democrats do not know anyone whose death may have been caused by side effects of COCID-19 vaccines.

(probably statistically insignificant)

26% of Republicans know someone whose death may have been caused by side effects of COCID-19 vaccines.

33% of Democrats know someone whose death may have been caused by side effects of COCID-19 vaccines.

(possibly statistically significant)

The graph determines whom the respondents personally know, not know of.  Saying that "it's now Democrats concerned about the Jab than Republicans" is a clear misinterpretation.
