I soooo agree with quick retribution solutions!

Yet When the disciples ( of the 70) asked Jesus if they should call fire down from heaven on the " ungodly word" who rejected them, he said NO lest ye hurt the wheat along with the burning of the tares"....Lesson here for us today in a chaotic, hateful, violent,

TRULY UNGODLY WORLD, I think so !

Of course Its not wise to call fire down on the unbelievers if they don't mean to kill the saints.

Samson only killed people who wanted him death.

Or such too wicked immoral people like Sodom and Gomorrah, God don't wait till the end time harvest.

God killed 14700 Jews who approached Moses with hostility, why fear to destroy the wheat along with tares ?

God has a plan & a season in which HE WILL RAIN DOWN FIRE UPON THE WICKED, AND IT WILL BE A JUST JUDGMENT!

The word says HIS MERCIES ARE NEW EVERY DAY, and to be merciful if we wish to obtain mercy.....therefore blessed ( HAPPY ) are the merciful for they shall receive mercy.

I rather like my life and have no desire to have others hurt in anyway whatsoever.

My LORD has had a plan from before the beginning. He needs not my suggestions for improvement of His plan. I am simply very grateful the plan includes turning me about from denial of his very exisence to worship of Jesus as my Lord God and personal savior. It is so very awesome an experience. May many go out into all the world sharing of  the gospel of Jesus, may many be found mature in the Lord at his soon (quick) return.

I also, though I sometimes struggle with certain challenges , am the type that will try and stop a fight.
But, when I sow seed, there is no doubt some are angry with me. That's cool. A spark of life is better than being lifeless.
But it is the Word  I bring that causes offense, and not the one bearing the news. The good news.
I do not go out into the world with the seed. God gave me a mission field in my own back yard. Daily.  Now that's cool...:)

Psalm 126:5-6 "Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.
Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy"

To whom can I speak and give warning? Who will listen to me? Their ears are closed so they cannot hear.
The word of the LORD is offensive to them; they find no pleasure in it.

“The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone, and
“a  stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense.”

"For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God's word, but as men of sincerity,
as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ"

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes

@R. Hartono The verses in 2nd Peter 3:9-10 always come to me regarding this matter you conveyed: "The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise as some understand slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment."

In love, He has chosen to reach out to us all in Christ the Savior. He knows the timing that will work best for the most people to be saved, and just how that will happen.  And prior to the above passage there's the verse saying a day to the Lord is as a thousand years and visa-versa. This tells me that the time factor, as we consider time, is nothing to Him ---> we don't see much happening right now according to our limited perception, but He sees the whole thing in its entirety.  And as we get closer to the end of this age, He will ramp things up. But even those actions will be in love and mercy, because some will come to Him through those calamities (sadly, many will not).

Regarding the details I cannot tell, but this I know - HE'S GOT THIS!

I cannot tell how He will win the nations,
How He will claim His earthly heritage,
How satisfy the needs and aspirations
Of east and west, of sinner and of sage.
But this I know, all flesh shall see His glory,
And He shall reap the harvest He has sown,
And some glad day His sun shall shine in splendor
When He the Savior, Savior of the world, is known.

(sung to "Danny Boy" tune)

You are in no position to judge anyone else. It is also unwise to beg Hashem to kill the people you don't like. If you wish evil on others, expect it to be returned your way.

Actually, calling for God's vengeance upon the wicked was a common thing for both OT and NT saints, including Jesus. Just one case in point:

Rev. 6:9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”

Many of these souls are saying these things now.

If you reject the NT, then how can you believe in Christ? And if you don't believe in Him, then how did you get on this forum?

That's an interesting question William.    Maybe the Holy Spirit sent her here to learn about Jesus.   She's not likely to read the New Testament so maybe we are supposed to tell her about it.

Missing the point. When I joined WCF, I was required to confess to faith in Christ in order to be able to post in the Christian forums. Is not that requirement still in effect?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
