The MARK of the Beast is literal

Fifty years ago, to say that one would have a "mark" in/on the right hand or in/on the forehead, so that no one could buy or sell..." would make less sense than it does now.

Not really, tattoos and body painting has been around since the beginning of the thinking man. Thats why it's crazy to believe this has anything to do with technology. I think it is/and meant to be that blatant.

I'm sure when it was written that is exactly what it meant because no one knew anything differently back then. This is proven for the mare fact there are passages in the bible that suggests the earth is flat using terms like four corners of the earth and huge pillars at the corners of the earth holding up the heavens.

The mark of the beast is going to be so subtle that people won't realize what they're doing.

Satan's not stupid. He knows what needs to be done in order to fulfill his destiny. He doesn't like it but he has no choice. He's going to take as many of us with him as he can.

If it was as simple as getting a mark on your hand or forehead, it would be a no-brainer. But there's a lot more to it than just receiving a mark.

I totally disagree with this. The mark is received as the result of worshiping the beast (really Lucifer) and this is what he has been seeking from the very begining. Worship Lucifer..... get a mark.... don't worship Lucifer...... No mark, no food, and you die. It will be that simple, very very simple and to the point.

Isaiah and David eerily described the suffering of Jesus on the cross long before the Romans invented crucifixion.

I really don't remember this. I'm not saying it isn't there, I just don't remember it. Here is the thing though. No one even knows if the order of this is even right. Half of the bible was put together from different religions and cultures. Example: stories like noah and the ark, adam and eve, and cain and able was taken from the Sumerians who existed long before the bible tells us the first people were created. (these people believed the gods came from another planet)

These stories have been handed down and re translated thousands of times. For the longest time only the latin translations were even allowed (which I have read somewhere there was 7 books taken away from their translation which was done by a voting process, which left out an even more outlandish version of revelations)

Back in those times there was no other explanation as to why a volcano erupts, or why there were earth quakes, or even rainbows. So it was either angry Gods/God or repentfull Gods/God. Of course we have gotten smarter as humans and we now know why these things happen.

It was also a common thing back then when people were on their death bed to spit out a lot of babble(sorry that is the only way to describe it) which would be written down as prophesies. Thats why there are crazy things in the bible like predictions of lands never being built upon again and only inhabited by dragons. YES DRAGONS!!!!!...lol. I don't know if you know this or not but Iraq is one of these places. Another one was written that Israel would live a peaceful life. We all know they have lived everything but a peaceful life.

We have a story in the Bible that speaks of a great flood. We know this couldn't have possibly been a totally true story because if it were there are a lot of animals that would have been extinct if it were because God ordered Noah to kill the clean male animals for sacrifice/or for food(cant really remember). By this being done, if it had been a world flood then there wouldn't be a lot of animals that exist today. So obviously there was a flood somewhere, someone told the story and because no one knew there was more of the world than they knew of it was a world flood. This is just an example of how these stories have come about. But I can almost garentee the rainbow existed long before someone decided it was put in the sky as a promise. (which by the way wasn't kept if you choose to believe thats what it is, being that people are killed every year somewhere by floods)

Except that maybe this was accomplished when we invaded the country.  We put out many thousands of tons of uranium 238 in a mostly arisol from our DU ammunitions in the form of uranium oxide.  The particle size is extreamly small and in the desert climate as in iraq and the general area will be there for centuries.  It takes several years for it to start to kill the population with cancer and birth defects.  We'll have to wait to see what happens for sure........

Take into consideration that he took more than two of the clean animals and I don't remember anywhere that it said to kill them all

Your right, the Lord didnt tell him to, he just did it. Now keep in mind this is after the flood.

Gen.8:20 And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
