The following link is from an on-line book called Apostasy and the Last Days Church by Dean McGriff. Please click on the INTRODUCTION and read that page first. It asks some very important, key questions of us saints. I'd love to have a discussion on this topic. http://www.endtimesnetwork.com/church/ld_i...ntro.html#start

O rmaybe you mean that you don't believe the apostasy will come from within the church? That it is from outside the church in the form of all these other world religions???? To the latter I would quote the author of the above link in question: "Believers will "fall away from the faith." We may think these are false believers rather than real Christians but it is impossible for an "unbeliever" to fall away from something he doesn

But in my opinion, some believers will enter into the tribulation, the ones who haven't yet overcome the world and made Jesus Lord of their lives. Many call Him Lord, but their actions prove otherwise. I believe these lukewarm types will be left behind, but they will still have a chance to lay it down. But many of these will lose heart and fall away from the truth. We know Jesus is the only way to the Father. We are free to talk about the gospel, but in those days, it will be against the law. I believe the Apostate church will demand tollerance. If someone says, 'Jesus said,' "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but by me." This individual will be in big trouble in the tribulation and will be labeled "intollerant." I guess they will be forced to make a tough choice between (keeping your head and losing your life) or (giving your head and keeping your life). Not everyone will be able to have enough faith and courage to make the right choice.

If you become a believer God will claim you as His own and when the Tribulation comes He promised to save us from it. Even the Christian who did not maybe live the life he should be living, will be raptured if he is really born again ---there are no buts who deserves to be there, because none of us deserves it. There will be different crowns on the end of evenything when Jesus comes back and that will show what we did unto Him. The luke warm Christians are the ones who call them self Christian but they did not accept Jesus and are still living for the world. They call Jesus Lord, but Jesus doesn't know them. Then they are not a Christian, If they do NOT accept Jesus nor follow Him. So what does lukewarm really mean? In His Love, Suzanne

The article I posted is trying to show that it is happening RIGHT NOW! to the whole loaf!

But I do agree with you! The falling away is happening now, because when the rapture happen ALL christian will be gone and the ones saved during the tribulation will face persecution.
