Why I do not believe evolution diminishes God

I am saying that everything in the realm of physical reality is because God made it so. Do you disagree?

Evolution in its simplest form is heritable change in a population over time. Mutations that lead to these heritable changes may look random to you or I, but I suspect they are not random from God’s perspective. Do you disagree?

Do you believe that God is somehow unaware of the constant and abundant flux in the chemical composition of your DNA?

Evolution from the perspective of Darwin has been outdated for decades. There is nothing revolutionary in thinking that Darwin’s hypotheses have not been found to be completely adequate. You might be aware that Darwin did not have the benefit of even Mendel’s work at the time of his publications.

OK, I will concede that life forms itself has EVOLVED throughout time.   When we look at average heights from just 2,000 years ago to 300 years ago and today, you can tell we have gotten taller.   I think in terms of food we eat from fruits to poultry/beef/etc we have manipulated much of that ourselves with hormones and growth additives.   Even Darwin was observing a specific Species of fowl that evolved within his own lifetime.   But I do not believe because God allows the process of evolving that necessarily equates to evolution.

During the Great Awakening, George Whitefield was preaching to a crowd of about 30,000.  A curious skeptic climbed a nearby tree for a better view.  As he began to fall under conviction, he put his fingers in his ears so as not to hear the preaching.  But soon he was forced to swat away a swarm of flies; and as he did so, he was forced to hear the preaching, was fully convicted, and was gloriously saved.  I have posted the Kenneth Miller video that refutes evangelical creationism and, as expected, evangelical posters here have put  their fingers in their ears by refusing to watch it, lest they get convicted by Miller's persuasive evidence.  So consider this nagging my "swarm of flies" intended to embarrass them into an unexpected flash of integrity that at last launches their journey into the fresh air of honest and open inquiry into the truth of this matter.  Their only safety is staying locked in their myopic fundamentalist Ghetto, where they can comfortably restrict themselves to comforting but naive voices that duck the real evidence for human evolution.

Now, a special creation of Adam and Eve would most likely require the presence of other humans outside the Garden of Eden, but there is no reason that a special creation (or two, in this case!) could not have taken place exactly as described in literal terms.

So, you are under the opinion those people of Nod were through Evolution, but for the lineage to the Messiah, Adam was a special creation?

Isn't this like saying we have observed single cell organisms by the millions under the scope for past 150 years and not a single one have duplicated into multi cells.   But the moment we play God and manipulate the process we get results so we toss out 150 years of observation for malarkey?

My goal is not to convince you to believe as I believe. My goal is to convince you that I can believe what I do without rejecting Jesus Christ (or the Bible).

I am on the Mathematics end of the Scientific Process, so it's not like I am dismissing Science at all.
