(Denial of evidence for evolution)

See above.  Your fellow YE creationists disagree with you.

Well, let's take a look.  Wise writes:

"Evidence for not just one but for all three of the species level and above types of stratomorphic intermediates expected by macroevolutionary theory is surely strong evidence for macroevolutionary theory. Creationists therefore need to accept this fact. "(p.219)

Yes, I know that he wrote that as well; but the first sentence of the paper means that you have to read "... assuming the evolutionary interpretations..." in all such statements.  It is understood.

the greatest evil in the church is the Domino Theory of Scripture, Jerry Falwell's view that if you can't believe that God created the world in 7 24-hour days, you should reject all of Scripture, including Jesus as your Lord and Savior.  Millions of our brightest Christian youth have rejected Christ for precisely this reason.  Many evangelicals would rather feel "right" about their simplistic theology than get people saved!  Chuck Templeton, founder of Youth for Christ and an evangelistic considered in his day more promising than his close friend Billy Graham fell prey to this evil perspective.  Chuck succumbed to the Domino theory, felt intellectually obligated to reject a literal interpretation of the Genesis creation story, and reject his faith in Christ.  My fellow Canadian seminarians at Princeton Seminary got tapes of Church's sermons and were brought to tears by how well Chuck preached the Gospel with great power and conviction.

Let me add that the most respected defender of evolution in America is a devout Catholic named Dr.  Kenneth Miller, who has authored high school and college texts on the subject.  It is Dr. Miller who is usually called to defend the teaching of evolution in schools in court cases and he just shreds evangelical creationists.  I challenge readers to watch any of his lengthy youtube lectures on evolution, including his videos on how he reconciles evolution with his Christian faith.  Few evangelicals are honest enough to get beyond their myopic creationist Ghettos and launch and honest and open inquiry into how experts like Miller defend evolution.

In a future post here, the OP will at last get a defense on biblical grounds.

Evolution, the teaching of which has existed since ancient pagan myths, was popularised by people whose aim was to reject God and creation.  The whole philosophical basis of evolutionary interpretations, is materialism.

Evolution is THE main reason why many young people, from Christian families, reject Christianity and become atheists.  They are taught evolution, and creation is mocked, in schools, colleges and universities.  If the parents and churches knew how to defend biblical creation better, then far fewer people would be deceived by molecules to man evolution.

I came from a background of agnosticism and studied biology, including evolution, at university.  It was the realisation that it CANNOT be true (initially due to irreducible complexity) that was one of the stepping stones that God used, which eventually led to me being saved by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ.

Evolution is one of the devil's main weapons against Christianity.

LOL, are you actually claiming that "ancient pagan myths" taught evolution through natural selection and genetic mutation?  Documentation, please!

Now, I think you realise that that is not what I'm claiming.  I said that ancient pagan myths taught evolution, not Darwinian evolution.

Your challenge was spurious.  Since I am not claiming what you said, and since I do not subscribe to that view, why should I attempt to document it?  Surely you must realise that there are different views, even within a belief in evolution.

If you want to read an article about ancient pagan views of evolution and long ages, here is a link.

Macroevolution is not possible; frankly, it's a ridiculous theory. God truly has made foolish the wisdom of the world! It's fun to laugh at evolution. But whatever you want to say about biology, and whatever specious arguments you want to present for it, it fails because evolutionists don't have millions or billions of years to work with. I can't post YouTube videos here, but go on YouTube and search for "What You Aren't Being Told About Astronomy - Vol. I (Our Created Solar System)" (Vol. 2 is also on YouTube, about the starts and galaxies). The presenter, Spike Psarris, just goes through the whole solar system and explains why it cannot be billions of year old, and must be young, due to the observations of pretty much everything we see in our own solar system, and the rest of the universe itself. The earth itself cannot be billions of years old, as the magnetic field is decaying far too rapidly. Projected backwards 20,000 years, and the earth is liquefied due to the heat! LOL. And there are many more forms of evidence. http://creationwiki.org/Young_earth_evidence

Thanks for providing the online source for your claim.

Back to this thread's subject, the creation text that is most compatible with evolution is Proverbs 8:30-31 [New Jerusalem Bible]:

"I [Wisdom] was beside the master craftsman, delighting him day after day, ever at play in his presenceat play everywhere on his earth, delighting to be with the children of men."

Wisdom personified speaks as if she were a distinct aspect of the Godhead.  In Luke 11:49 "Sophia (= Wisdom pesonfied) speaks through Jesus Such speeches by Wisdom inspire the earliest reference to "the Trinity" ("trinas"): "God, God's Word [Christ], and God's Wisdom"(not "the Holy Spirit"--Theophilus, Bishop of Antioch--180 AD).  Similarly, the Johannine hymn acclaims Christ as "the Logos," the rational Self-expression of God as opposed to God in His unknowability.  Why apparently distinguish Lady Wisdom from the monotheistic God?  Wisdom stands for the orderliness of the created and moral order, and so, Her function resembles that of "Mother Nature."  Practically speaking, Wisdom represents the rational laws of Nature that God establishes and then leaves these laws to evolve into the universe as we know it.  Notice that Wisdom's role in the world's craftsmanship is poetically characterized as divine "play."  Though this image does not teach evolution, it is poetically compatible with seemingly random creation experiments, e. g. mass extinctions and evolutionary dead ends, phenomena that are standard aspects of evolution.  How this model might be reconciled with a poetic understanding of the Genesis creation story will be the subject of my next planned post.

Regardless of what you think about the rest of my argument for evolution as a tool in the hands of an almighty Creator, I hope the reader understands why I don't see evolution as any sort of limit on God's power.

Interesting thought. But, evolution teaches that humans came from monkeys.
That causes a problem, who was Adam? A human, half human monkey? So adam was the first monkey? or the first to be called a human? Were those monkeys or half humans before adam saved or not saved? Will we see them in heaven? Will they be able to speak?
It confuses. God is not a God of confusion.

A monkey is an animal, a human is a different kind, created in the image of God.
Are monkeys created in the image of God? That is not right.

Evolution is still called a theory. Meaning unproven. The theory is incomplete and when looking at it with unbiased discernment, you can see the flaws of this theory. Even in a laboratory we can't change one kind to another kind.

Evolution teaches a trial and error system. God doesn't do trial and error.

Evolution theory certainly won't limit God's power. But is contradicts God's attributes and thus I belief it is false.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
