There is also Wise counsel given concerning dusting ones feet off.

Live peaceably if possible is also something to consider before telling loved ones to accept abuse. Only a ba'alim would perform such a hate.

It's amazing what God will do if you ask Him, I'm in no means suggesting to stay in a abusive situation but you can still love the person knowing the person is lost and in darkness and need Jesus, the abusive people are usually very unhappy ,what can happen if they get in contact with the life? The Light is in us as it is in Jesus, often without words ,we can be a witness, the darkness does not like the light because it exposes sin .

So why do we have an ignore feature on Worthy? Are we to love it when people verbally abuse us and are unkind to us? We pray for them.

Some people are at different levels of their walks.  Some people do not have the patience or wherewithal to deal with people on the internet.  If they wish, they can ignore people.  :)

Personally, those who I wish to place on ignore ... I view as a test of my patience and love ... am I passing this test today?  Hopefully, this is the goal ... to love as Corinthians describes is a difficult task.

1Co 13:4  Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant
1Co 13:5  or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;
1Co 13:6  it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.
1Co 13:7  Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

God bless,

George

... but does this negate love?  I don't think so.  Oftentimes, it's your love that speaks more than words can ever do!  :)

What do you think freedom is?
Do you think freedom is the possibility to do evil?
Without possibility to do evil, there would be no freedom?
He who don't commits evil can never be free?

Heaven doesn't have possibility to do evil.
So there is no freedom in Heaven?

I wish it were always like in Heaven. Do you?

Two different issues ... before Jesus came ... God was preserving the Jewish race so that the promises of the Jewish Messiah could be fulfilled.

The New Testament clearly speaks of loving your enemy.  If you refuse to do so ... who's Word are you disobeying?

Are you claiming the New Testament clearly speaks of loving antichrists, witch, murderer, burglar, rapist... and other villains ?

In your opinion, in the Old Testament God says one thing, and then does the complete opposite?

The Lord never asked anyone to forgive a murderer.

So I'm not sure of what sort of love you are speaking of.

34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

35 And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.

36 And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar,

37 And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.

38 And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, This Is The King Of The Jews.

39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.

40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

44 And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.

45 And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.

46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

47 Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man. Luke 23

Them was murdering Jesus at that moment

Look at Joseph in Genesis and how he forgave his brothers after what he had been put thru.

Are you implying you personally know who Yeshua was speaking about?

Sorry, but that is what is called inference or eisegesis.

"For lack of knowledge....."

An example of "love your enemies", is found in the history of kings. At one point in time Saul sought David's life. And never did David forfeit. Nor did David return evil for evil upon Saul. Instead David showed Saul mercy on that fateful day.

What eventually befell Saul was an example to all the merciless of the world.

No I wasn't there, but I do have 3 words (we will see). Some day all of us will stand before The Great Throne of Judgement and then the True Judge will speak..

He said that about Romans. They know not what they do and they were not criminals but hangmans.
That's like accuse the hangman in the implementation of a court decision. It was their job.

What's your point?
Should I assume that's reason to love antichrists, witch, murderer, burglar, rapist... and other villains ?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
