I constantly live one heart beat, one breath away from being with the Lord. I personally don't believe we Christians are appointed to the wrath of the Lord. But if I'm wrong, I couldn't prepare enough anyway on my own, I would have to have the Lord strengthen and comfort me to face impending death at the hands of God haters.

Yes, in my estimation we are so very close to the coming of our Lord! I too believe we're living in the 'fig tree' generation, whereby a generation is 70 years, or by strength 80 years. Hi Dennis,

We agree on so much. Now I actually believe you can set a date, as the Lord only told Israel who is blinded that they would not know. However He told the believers in Thessalonica that they were NOT in darkness that this day should overtake them. And in Hebrews we are told to encourage each other all the more as we see the day approaching. Thus I believe the Holy Spirit will confirm in all our hearts as we get closer & closer. Also the times God has in His word actually do lead to actual dates from our position in this `fig tree `generation. (See my Tribulation Calendar and Calculations blog).

I am working on doing a thread on who I see as the strong contender for the false Prophet. Prophet being of the world.

REST assured no believer Goes under the wrath of GOD.

tis far better to face the worst of men , than the wrath of GOD. 

Since the days of JESUS and onward,  men have been tormented, tortued , killed for HIS NAME

This will never change.    But praise the LORD , and leap for joy when persecuted.   andremember,   while we do suffer from the hands of men as many have before us

PRAISE GOD we wont be under HIS WRATH.  cause,   that is far worse than what any man can do .

Flee date setters , and by that i mean if any man says HEY JESUS IS COMING ON THIS DATE .  YA RUN and never look back.  never .

Hi friend...

I hear you loud and clear, however.....I see that Jesus was speaking to the people of Israel concerning the abomination of desolation in their Temple.

- if in Judea flee to the mountains,

- pray it wont be on the Sabbath,

- if people are saying here is the anointed one (Christ) do not believe.

But I don`t see any mention of us the Body of Christ not to know when the Head is coming for His Body. Different events and happenings.

Also concerning what Jesus was saying about the abomination of desolation in the temple, He actually gives how many days till the temple is cleansed -

`And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination is set up, there shall be 1,290 days.` (Dan. 12: 11)

Seems God desires us to know specifically when certain events happen.

Aww well I didn't know about him either till 3 years ago so his name is still fairly new to me too.
