Because there is a very deceiving spirit in the world spreading fast, a wolf in the sheep's clothing. The spirit of the anti Christ disguised under new age practice and universalism. And most of these poor souls have no idea what they are getting themselves into until it's too late. My sister is one of these victims and it frustrates me. No matter what I tell her she turns things around, thinking good is bad and bad is good... I do constantly pray for her though. So the goal is to try to make people aware of what controls this world in order for them to stay away from it.

OK I just dragged this quote from the other thread you started and then requested be closed...I didn't read or participate in that thread...it caught my eye as I was signing out and I had already

thought there must be a reason you are asking these questions and then I read the above which I have posted

I just want to state that I do not think a Christian necessarily goes out trying to find out all they can about the devil out of idle curiosity...but of course some do.

Some Christians believe satan can no longer touch them in anyway.  He already has.

Some Christians think satan is behind every negative event in their life and causes the driver in the car in front of them to drive too slowly when they are late for work

Some Christians don't want to know anything about the devil and gloss over all the considerable portions of scripture that actually deal with that individual

Then we have the Christians who with sincere hearts come before God and honestly and earnestly just do not understand why their lives are 'touched' by something

they cannot define but have the uneasy feeling they need to deal with  nonetheless.

Hall...I doubt people can be educated as to what controls this world as you put it....scripture actually defines the problem in a more precise manner and in a matter of fact manner

that can leave no doubt that to ignore the god of this world who is the power of the spirit of the air, leaves one vulnerable to deception (like your sister) and scoffing like those

who do not believe and variations on the same theme.

I think it is up to God to decide how much of the demonic He allows a person to experience, to know or to battle against.  In any event, I wouldn't go looking for any of it.  If God allows

as part of His plan for a person's life, then, you can determine there is a purpose to it.

I guess it's because I'm sick of evil taking advantage of this world, everything is so transparent around me. So easy to tell when someone's mind is being affected in a certain way. But we are stuck on this rock for now and all I can do is to try to warn people somehow. I really wish I could kick the devil's ass once and for all but that's up to God of course. I'm just frustrated to see what's going on all the time... We can't be mad at people because it isn't there faults, it's the spirit within them that I am mad at.

Isa 5:20  Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Eze 28:13  Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold:
the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

And that one starts out here

Ezekiel 28:2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:

Says the prince of Tyrus is a man there and unto the king of the lamentation is upon in the verse just prior yours

Ezekiel 28:12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

hi sister Flame,

the prince of Tyrus allows us to perceive aspects of Lucifer's rebellion.  he is a picture of Satan.

the prince became king upon the fall of Adam and Eve, in which we essentially crowned him and gave him our allegiance.

both Christ and Satan had rulership rights to this planet, until of course his defeat at the Cross.

Joh 12:31  Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

unless of course you interpret verse 13 to mean that a man was in Eden, instead of that sly serpent.

and then there is also verse 14 to support this.

Eze 28:14  Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
Eze 28:15  Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
Eze 28:16  By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
Eze 28:17  Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
Eze 28:18  Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
Eze 28:19  All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

obviously a picture of the fallen cherub that covered the throne of God, and most likely ruled the adoration and worship of the Most High.

love to you.

Awh, Hi bro Blessedbythebest hugssmilie.gif

Yes, there are a couple interpretations out there, seems rather twofold between prince and King there. Others don't make the difference. Both the serpent and the man were in the garden. But Satan is said to be a murderer from the beginning not perfect. Whereas Adam (who was in the garden) was a man (even as the prince is said to be) who was made in the image of God (Who is perfect) till iniquity was found in him too. And there, the only one I see covering anything is Adam even as Job said, " If I covered" my transgressions as Adam, by "hiding mine iniquity" in my bosom. Whereas the serpent made naked (to themselves). But there price and King there and we know the spirit that works in man can also act like a covering (or veil)  in lying against the truth. Even as it does speak of "the veil of covering" cast over the nations. They just seem so interlocked in the sense he blinds the minds. But even in respects to the violence, God said to Noah, concerning the end of all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence "through them" and he would destroy them. Not so clear, but I can catch a little of both, after all both prince and King are there, and "the prince" is yet a man but its sometimes hard to divide the man from the spirit that works in Him so much I find.

love to you bro too!

One clue is that many evil music bands sell their souls to the devil for fame.

The devil has no power to buy souls. If you think he does, please cite scripture to that.

God made humans emotional. Music plays on emotion and memories that are tied to certain things.

Blessings to Everyone!

As far as denominations go  the apostolic creed in the Catechism of the Catholic Church declares that one can pray to angels just as one can pray to the Blessed Mother Mary,it goes way back based mainly on Tradition with very little Scriptoral truth....in the Catholic Missile there is much about angels including that they are divided into groups that are called Choirs(nothing to do with music)and then you have the reference to the seraphim who sing out"'Holy,Holy,Holy",Lucifer being jeweled and having pipes as parts of his body  and before you know it somewhere ,someone came up with Lucifer being the Angel of Music(even the Catholic Theologist St Thomas Aquinis did much in depth study of angels(non-Biblical)and before him there was the 4th century traditionalists and Magesterium....this is all nothing short of Mysticism...Even the Highly patronized archangel Gabriel is not mentioned in the Bible.....Many Angels are named in Catholicism

I do believe this all crept into Jewish & Christian traditions from Jewish Mythology ,Sumerian & Mesopatamia mythology rooted in the Alphabet of Ben Sira in the Babylonian Talmud(I may have placed one before the other but  I have not thought about these studies in many years-lol).The Ben Sira writings teach of Lilith,Adams first wife and very detailed profiles of maybe 25 or 30 very powerful angels, what their assignments are and their names...Lucifer given the title of Head Minister of Music.....MYTH

What we do know from the Word of God is that amongst the different gods of this world that are at work in the world today we are warned that we do war against spirits of the air, which I have always thought  of as demons that attack through different air waves, signals or frequencies(radio, television, satellite, speakers, speakers, sound waves etc,,,)....Most likely we all have at one time or another experienced the hypnotic or mesmerizing effect music can have  on us so I am without any doubt that the enemy uses this weapon much more than we may realize.....and so we continually pray for discernment, keep God first in our lives, study His Word and walk hand in hand with our Lord & Savior, Christ Jesus!

                                                                                                                       With love,Kwik

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
