Microsoft has collaborated closely with US intelligence services to allow users' communications to be intercepted, including helping the National Security Agency to circumvent the company's own encryption, according to top-secret documents obtained by the Guardian.

Shame on MS! They have lied to us about the privacy of our data.

What makes you think any of our data is private? In my humble opinion, nothing is private on the web, and no matter what anyone says there will always be a way for someone who has the knowledge, to access our data.

one is really nieve if they think anything they post online is truly private. Whats suprising, is how many people are surprised that companies have been sharing their data with people they shouldn't-they sell your data to people to make a profit, they give it to the government in the name of national security-this has been going on for YEARS and YEARS. its only coming to light now because of all the political turmoil.

So you agree that MS lied when they promised our data would be kept private?
