A few nights ago I had a really bad dream. My family and I got off a bus going to my job. I had just yelled at one of the little kids for running in the street on a red light. This kid and I started going back and forth about him crossing on the red with him saying that he didn't and I telling him that he did. There was some men working on the street. One of the men yelled across the street at me that he didn't run the red light and I in turn yelled back that I wasn't blind the light was red. He yelled back yea, but I'm controlling the traffic today not the lights and I flashed green.

I was going to yell back at him, but at the corner of my eyes I saw something run into the street so I turned to see what it was. It was my little one year old nephew. A second after I notice that it was him I saw a truck race pass toward him. I started running, but I was to late. The truck hit him. I ran until I could see him lying on the ground clearly. I stopped a scream trapped in the throat. I tried so hard to release that scream, but I couldn't.

I sat up in bed. Two things ran through my mind as I sat there. One I need a cig. The other I need to pray. I got up and went to have a cig and then I prayed. As I got back in bed I thought to my self why did I go have a cig before I prayed?

The next morning as I was on my way to work that question played over and over in my head. Why did I go have a cig before i prayed? Then by the grace of God the answer and given me. It just pop into my head out of nowhere. You choose the cig to comfort you instead of praying to me for comfort.

Man that was a completely shock. At first I was like can it really be that that is why it has been so hard to stop smoking? I use it to comfort me? After reveiwing when I smoke I've come to see that that is actually right. I do. This knowledge hasn't made it easyer to stop smoking, but it has made me stop and think before I smoke. I guess stopping is the next step.

God Bless You

Jacqueline

Your dream life is your spiritual monitor. It explains what you are going through in the physical life.

What most of us call dream is not what it is, rather it is an insight to what is going on in the spirit world.

Jacqueline,

Aren't revelations wonderful? I had an experience similar to yours. A few months ago I was at my computer smoking and drinking my beer just as I had done almost every night before that for years. When I had my revelation I simply looked at my hands and asked why. I looked to my left hand and there was my beer and said "I don't need this to live". I then looked in my right hand to the cigarette and said " I don't need this to live". I stopped everything then and closed my eyes and prayed to Jesus to enter my heart and save me from myself. Since that night I have stopped smoking, drinking alcohol and even gave up caffeine. I want nothing in my life I can call an addiction. Addictions are binding and very much distractions. The day after I asked for help my cravings were almost non-existent. Sadly I broke down that evening while in front of my computer. The next morning I woke up and smoked one without a thought and I found myself in pain for the next hour. I took that as a warning. I can only reason that God does only what is absolutely necessary. But when chastening is needed he will not hesitate and he will do so with love. Never was I so happy to be punished.

I now attend service weekly as well as Sunday School. I must admit that I learn and witness more here at worthyboards than I have at church so far. I am most thankful to God for my Brothers and Sisters in Christ here at Worthyboards. :P

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
