  1. Bible uses the term(s) "contentious"(quarrelsome in some translation) as a warning label(s) for women who are problematic. However, in contrast, it is interesting that the Bible uses the term(s) "wise"(prudent in some translation) for women who are good paragons, but Not solely term(s) like kind or nice by and in themselves. To elaborate, bible readers' first intuition is to think that the opposite of "contentious"(quarrelsome) is kind( or nice ). Therefore, Let's say that the typical bible readers come across the following verses: Therefore, after reading the aforementioned verses, the typical bible reader might at first have an impression that the direct opposite of a contentious woman would be solely a kind ( or nice ) woman. The bible reader might think that the solely kind ( or nice ) woman is to be exalted. However, that deduction is wrong because being solely a kind ( or nice ) woman is Not the good paragon woman that the bible recommends. Rather, it is the wise(prudent) woman that the bible exalts. Now granted, Proverbs 31:26b does uphold kindness as a good quality for women to have, but the verse on the whole suggests that kindness is sort of incidental and/or secondary to the quality of wisdom: To conclude, "contentious"(quarrelsome in some translation) women are to be approached with caution. However, the primary quality to look for in a woman is wisdom, and kindness ( or niceness) is very much incidental and/or secondary to wisdom.
  2. Now the reason why the word correspondence was used in stead of argument, we as Christians should preach the gospel by showing genuine love for everyone like Jesus did & not necessarily go into arguments, but now the question comes up if we engage with them, the very first thing they are most likely going to ask so why the Bible is full of contradictions & give proof that it is real, immediately changing this back into an argument, so it seems it is not wise to do this like there is many Youtube videos where Christians is being attacked & it is hard not to get in there & defend Christianity. Have really tried to engage with a couple of atheists telling them about the hope that Jesus brings, but they just come back with quotes of the Bible combined with very carefully constructed & cunning philosophies/theories & try as I might explaining each time that the verses was taken out of context with a proper explanation, but they just keep on firing their attacks with Bible verses non stop. Jesus Himself sometimes also have stopped talking to some when the conversation was just going nowhere.
  3. God Heals at the Gas Station! (Testimony) God loves to work with His children everywhere! Here is a testimony of just that; God working through His faithful servant to heal a man who was clearly in great pain at a GAS STATION of all places! How cool is that?! God is awesome! God bless you all, in Jesus' mighty name!
  4. The creator gave us the tree of life in the beginning, what choices did we have then, and how do they compare to the choices between good and evil now?
  5. I was raised in a time and in an area of the country where many men considered it manly to kill animals just for the sake of killing them. They called doing that "sport." And they taught the young boys, as they grew up, to do the same thing. They explained that killing animals was merely we humans "exercising our dominion" as they put it. The results was a lot of unnecessary killing of animals (and birds) just for the sake of killing them. "Road kills" counted too. Many back then would speed up in order to "score a point" on all critters crossing the road and even score points on stray dogs and cats too. I now see all that as wrongdoing and outright sin. Its a blessings how the Lord changes the heart and makes us wiser and better as we read His word and get to know Him better. I found myself braking the other day so I would not hit a young squirrel that had just dashed in front of my truck. I am glad I did that. I will never again cause any animal death or pain just for the sake of killing the animal. I read in the newspaper where they closed that disgraceful Ringling Brothers Elephant Show. Good. It was very painful for the elephants. I have read how they "trained" the elephants to do all their tricks and performances and the "training" involved intense pain for the elephants while they were forced to go through their routines. No, I am not against hunting animals for food. I am against killing them only "for sport" and against killing them "just for the sake of killing them." No, I am not a pacifist. I believe some wars are justified, for example WW II. But I believe killing and mangling up human bodies in wars ought to be the very last resort after all other solutions have been totally exhausted. "Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God", said the Lord Jesus. That means exactly what it says. On another subject: "A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal." Proverbs 12:10
