  1. Is there something about being homosexual that would make one less able to preform well in the military? I am a retired military member and I have seen a lot of changes over the years and none brought with them the doom and gloom that was predicted. Sadly our young people have been so well indoctrinated that they no longer view homosexuality as anything out of the ordinary. Speaking to the young troops that worked for me prior to leaving the service none of them had any issue with this at all, for the most part they could not understand why the ban was there.
  2. So, was it a coup or not? sure looks like one and walks like one... But, if our government were to call it that, we would have to quit giving Egypt 1.5 billion in aide each year. We would not want to do that now. Perhaps we could stop sending that to Egypt and use it here? How do you feel about the idea that it was our armored personnel carriers, helicopters, and tanks, plus our training, that allowed the Egyptian military to invalidate the election?
  3. Not to intending to derail the thread but this has always confused me. If God has chosen only Israel then where does that leave the rest of the world? Aren't we all his children even though some chose to not believe in him and for those who do follow him aren't we also chosen? Is there a difference? To me the term "chosen" means they were chosen for a purpose.
  4. how do you show the love of Christ if you do not walk among the lost daily?
  5. I would like to see my children married and with kids...I look forward to grandkids. I want to run the Great Wall Marathon Go on a mission trip with my wife. She has been on two, but we have not been able to do one together yet.
  6. Why do you not believe Xmas trees are pagan? perhaps because they are not. Historically they are! We can't rewrite history just because its uncomfortable. It does not matter what they were historically, what matters is how we use them. The basic wedding ceremony you see in every church historically was pagan. The giving of wedding rings was a pagan thing to do. But that is not how we do those things. Praying was a pagan practice prior to the birth of Jesus, should we abandon it as well?
