Well, to be honest, there is really no reason to look into my questions too deeply, as if to over analyze them. They are merely simple question that only need simple answers. Like I said, I am not here to debate, because I really see no point in it; and normally they become heated arguments that end up with ill emotions on both sides. That is something I would rather not see. I would rather make friends here. Now, if you would like to take my query in private, to leave it out of the debate thread since it really has nothing to do with the topic(or maybe it does, if you look at it from a certain point of view), then that would be perfectly fine with me, considering I have to look all over the place for your response that seems to get lost in the vast wasteland of text.

Thank you for your honesty, Emeraldgirl. We have all lied at some point in our lives, in many different ways. But regardless how or when, or for whatever motivation, lying to someone still makes us what?

Actually, I wasn't going to quote Scripture regardless of how you answered my question, nor would I endlessly debate you on some of the topic on these boards. But considering that you answered "Yes" to my question about being a good person, I would like to ask another. Now please do not answer if it is too personal, but have you ever told a lie? Before, or if you answer, please realize that I am not try to point a finger at you, but I am mere wanting to know. Also, I am being completely serious about this enquiry, rather than trying to appear to insult your intelligence

That last part of your post, Emeraldgirl, is something I have found interesting, and also some that I have tried to figure out for myself over the years. What I have discovered was that even when Jesus Christ was on Earth, and when he was preforming miracles(such as bringing the dead back to life) people still rejected him and his teachings, even those that basically lived with him. And as I thought about this, it became apparent to me that Christ was not actually reviling that he was God to prove to those that would never believe in Him, but rather to reassure those who would believe. Maybe I am wrong. Remember, He knows people

Interesting. Well, everything in that area is teetering on a knifes edge anyway. So I would not be surprized. -

Whoops, I meant to say that the HQ of the UN might end up moving to Europe instead of staying in NY. I am sure if this does happen, it will not be fore awhile, considering their constitution still needs ratifying. This is very true. Hypothetically, if he does get the vote, that might be the staw that breaks the camels back in the UN, with our relations with the rest of the council. That is if he "attacks" the rest of the council for what ever reason.
-
It is very possible that he could be to strong. I do feel that when the EU ratifies its constitution and becomes a stable economic union that the UN will eventually move to the EU. This, of course, is considering the permanent members of the Security Council and their relations to the US. The members are: the US, the UK, Russian Federation, France, and China. The other four members of the council are not exactly on good terms with the US. I know Tony Blair is our ally, however, he is up for election soon and I do not expect him to be reelected. There has not been much said about the EU, but I have been very vigilant about keeping up with them.

Normally I would be happy to debate politics, but I am still kind of burned out from the election and a few other things. However, concerning John Bolton, I think, from what I have heard, I would like him to go to the UN. The UN is so corrupt right now, we need someone that will bring more of the corruption to the light and get the UN back on track. The UN is in some serious need of reform, they are clearly not doing their job.

Here is some fruits of the Holy Spirit. Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. When you are indwelled by the Holly Spirit, when you become a Christian, you recieve these.

"scientists" will tell you "No" because they interpret everything to be billions of years old, and that the earth was once one big boiling mass of lava, etc, and consequently has been "cooling" for billions of years. But Biblically it has in fact increased greatly. The thing is there is not one volcanic erruption recorded in scripture! Now I am not saying every one has happened since then, I am just saying there aren't any, at all, recorded in scripture, even in passing. Other then the supposed sinking of Atlantis, there aren't very many major earthquakes or erruptions in pre-christ history period, I think one OT earthquake is mentioned in the Bible. When Krakatoa blew up its shock wave cicled the entire earth twice, meaning no matter where you were on the earth, you heard and felt the explosion two seperate times, several hours apart, and from opposite directions. Had there been a volcanic event like that before Christ, it would have been recorded by SOMEONE, such as the chinese, who were obsessive historians and astronomers, or the Mayan's pre-christ ancestors, or someone. But there is no verifiable, historical evidence, that I am aware of, of any pre-jesus geologic event of that magnitude, even in the Bible, except for the great flood (I did really well in physical geology, so I have a decent working knowledge of known geologic disasters in history.) In 79a.d., just 9 years after Rome destroyed the Temple, Vesuvius buried Pompeii under lava and ash. Most of the pre-christ catastrophe's that are known have been recorded in the Bible, and most of the other known catastrophes have happened since then. What we do know is that during the great tribulation there is going to be an earthquake which will be so bad that it will apparantly flatten every mountain and sink every island. Rev. 17:18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. 19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. 20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. I may be mistaken, but I seem to recall a time when you could turn on the television and there wasn't news of a natural disaster flashing across the screen. Now every time you turn on the television, there has been a tornado outbreak, a hurricane, an earthquake, a flood, mudslide, something. I think evidence is natural disasters are increasing greatly over all, especially weather relatied ones, but this probably included geologic as well. We have been blessed that the last cosmic related natural disaster happend in a largely unpopulated region of Siberia, and there haven't been any since. I think we can do without a comet blowing up over San Diego, for example. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nice post. Thanks
